This page explains how to request deletion of your Space Imperia 4X account and the personal data linked to it. Deleting your account cannot be undone.
/How to request deletion
In the app (fastest)
- Open Space Imperia 4X and sign in to your account.
- Open the menu and select Account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Type your username to confirm, then confirm the deletion.
Your account and personal data are removed right away, and you are signed out.
By email (if you cannot open the app)
Email support@breichgames.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my account, and include your username. We verify that the account is yours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
/What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are removed and cannot be recovered:
- Your email address
- Your password
- Your Steam account link and ownership records
- Your Discord account link, including the linked Discord ID and username
- Your username, which is replaced with an anonymous placeholder
- Any bug reports you submitted from the game, including their attached game logs
After deletion the account can no longer be signed in to.
/What is kept
A record of the games you have played, including game outcomes, ratings, awards, and single-player progress, is kept in anonymous form. It is tied only to a random internal identifier with no personal details, so that other players' shared and multiplayer games and the historical match record stay intact. Product analytics about how the game is played are kept in the same anonymous form, keyed to that same identifier.
/Timing and retention
Personal identifiers, meaning your email, password, and linked accounts, are removed immediately when the deletion is processed. The anonymous game records above are kept for as long as the historical match data is retained. Residual copies in encrypted system backups are purged within 30 days.
